BOERBOEL FEATURES

Boerboels are massive dogs, can weigh over 180 pounds of pure muscle, and are agile and gracious in movement. The head is one of the most typical characteristics of a boerboel, it is broad, square, and muscular; the nostrils of the boerboels are entirely black and widely spaced. Boerboels have solid jaws and white teeth with loose and fleshy upper lips; their body is blocky with strong and powerful necks; their legs have defined muscles with arched toes equipped with thick padded paws. They tend to be dominant with powerful protective instincts but confident and calm, loving with family, highly intelligent, excellent playmates for children and incredibly loyal to their families; they are generally very docile, easy to groom and with few health problems.
